To have communion with God is to have a close and intimate relationship with Him. God calls us to approach Him with confidence to enjoy His presence and love at all times. Live each day in communion with God and your spirit will be strengthened.

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. (James 4:8)

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, declares the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)

…and you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13)

God is always with open arms, ready to receive and reveal his presence and love to all who seek him with all their heart. Do not hesitate to approach him. His presence will calm your being, give you peace and remind you that you are loved for all eternity.

As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? (Psalm 42:1-2)

God, you are my God; Early in the morning I will seek you; My soul thirsts for you, My flesh longs for you, In a dry and weary land, Where there is no water, To see your power and your glory, As I have looked upon you in the sanctuary. For your loving-kindness is better than life; My lips will give you thanks. So will I bless you as long as I live; In your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth will give you thanks with joyful lips, When I remember you on my bed, When I meditate on you in the watches of the night. For you have been my help, And in the shadow of your wings I will rejoice. My soul cleaves to you; Your right hand has upheld me. But those who seek my life to destroy me Will fall into the lowest places of the earth. They will be destroyed by the edge of the sword; They will be portioned by jackals. But the king will rejoice in God, Everyone who swears by Him will be praised, For the mouths of those who speak lies will be stopped. (Psalm 63:1-11)

Before they call, I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear. (Isaiah 65:24)

Jesus answered and said to him, He that loveth me will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. (John 14:23)

If you love God, His Spirit dwells in you. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit and enjoy His constant presence. He guides you in your decisions and enables you to live within the will of the Father, following the example of Jesus Christ and pleasing Him in all things.

The glory that you gave me I have given to them, that they may be one, even as we are one; I in them and you in me, that they may be made perfect in one, so that the world may know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. (John 17:22-23)

To all who are thirsty: Come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Hearken diligently to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in fatness. Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, and your soul will live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, the sure mercies of David. Behold, I have made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and a teacher to the nations. Behold, you will call a nation you do not know, and nations that do not know you will run to you, because of the LORD your God, and the Holy One of Israel, who has glorified you.
Seek the LORD while he may be found, call upon him while he is near. (Isaiah 55:1-6)

The LORD is in your midst, a mighty one; he will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness, he will be silent with love, he will exult over you with singing. (Zephaniah 3:17)

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

Call to me, and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things that you do not know. (Jeremiah 33:3)

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. (Revelation 3:20)

I will bless the LORD, who gives me counsel; even in the night my heart teaches me. (Psalm 16:7)
